Took for an MOT, replaced my perfectly functioning wiper blades for ones that barely work and charged me for it without even asking me beforehand.
DO NOT USE... Took my van for its M.O.T here and it failed on worn brake pads. I thought, that's strange, I'm sure there were loads of life left in them. Maybe I was wrong, as I was told they were less than 1.5mm, but I was in luck, he could replace them that day for 200. A set of pads is less than 50, it would take about 40 minutes to fit. 150 for less than 1 hours work....... This on top of an already expensive oil change and M.O.T. I THINK NOT. I pointed out the fact that the pads had loads left on them, but he would not pass it. I had the pads changed elsewhere. All pads had between 6 - 8 mm left on them. I will not be going back.... ever.
Seriously a dreadful unprofessional garage run by idiots who have no idea. Avoid at all costs.
Jeevan, his wife and his daughter run a reasonable little workshop. A bit slow at times as he allows customers on the workshop floor and chats more than he focuses on the job (MOT) at hand. If you have the patience for this type of thing then Holywell is okay.
Extremely good garage, although labour charges a little pricey.
